A Return to Podcasting

  1. Lovely to hear your voice again, Amanda and I so enjoyed seeing your intriguing image as well. Take care of yourself! This idea of podcasting, rather than blogging seems an excellent compromise for you.

When I hear about all the wonderful book projects going on in Australia, it rather makes my mouth water!

    1. Thanks Nancy! I probably should have explained that the photo is the spines of the finished BAO books.

  2. Dear Amanda, your absence has been noticed and you have been missed. I'm sorry to hear you've been so low on energy. Congratulations on getting your BAO book almost ready for posting - I'm looking forward to seeing more about it. It is crazy that the deadlines for those three exhibitions all fell in the same year and so close together - the Libris awards should have been last year but were postponed.

    1. Hi Helen, thank-you! Yes I am sure that I was not the only one to be affected by this. People have busy lives and making quality work takes time. Hopefully the Libris Awards will find a different schedule in future.

  3. Lovely to hear from you Amanda! And great that you're getting there with your BAO stuff. You're beating me, at any rate. Take care and hopefully we'll catch up soon! I'm up in Brisbane overnight on May 4th for the SLQ artists' book talk but I won't make it up to Mackay this time... :-(

    1. Hi Sara, thanks for dropping by. I have registered for the talk at SLQ too, so hopefully we'll catch up there! How exciting!

  4. The podcast seems like a good solution Amanda - it felt like we were listening to your blog. I agree re the timing of all 3 - I managed two/three, but only new work for one. Crazy as you say. Hope you continue to go gently and complete the bits you want to.

  5. It is lovely to hear your voice again, Amanda, and I hope you are getting the benefit of some rest. I love the image of the books, the colours really zing! Gorgeous!
